Support

A human answers this address. Usually within a day or two.

Anything at all: a bug, a question, a refund, a creature saying something it should not have. If you are writing about your account, send it from the email address you signed in with so we know it is you.

Cancel your subscription

Nularo is sold through Apple, so cancelling happens in your Apple Account, not in our app. We cannot do it for you.

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Nularo, then Cancel Subscription.

Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep everything until the period you have already paid for runs out. Deleting the app does not cancel anything, that catches people out constantly and the charges keep coming.

Get a refund

Apple handles every refund for every app on the App Store, including ours. We never see your card and have no ability to issue one.

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in, or use the "Report a Problem" link in the receipt Apple emailed you.
  2. Find the Nularo purchase and choose a reason.
  3. Submit it. Apple decides, usually within a few days.

Apple generally accepts requests made within 90 days of the charge. In the EU, the EEA, and the UK you also have a 14 day right of withdrawal, exercised the same way.

Email us as well if something actually broke. We cannot overrule Apple, but we can write to them explaining what went wrong on our end, and a request backed by the developer tends to land better than one without.

Stop the AI from writing your verdict

The daily line is written by Google's Gemini, but only if you switched that on. To turn it off: open Nularo, go to Settings, and switch off "Personalize my verdict with AI." From the next morning nothing about your nights leaves your phone, and the creature writes from lines we wrote by hand. It stays just as rude.

Delete your account and everything in it

In the app, go to Account and tap Delete account. It is immediate and permanent, and it removes your sign-in record too, not just the data you can see.

If you cannot get into the app, email us from the address on your account and we will delete it, or send you a copy of everything first if you want one. Either way, within 30 days.

The creature says it cannot see anything

That means Apple Health is not sharing with us. iOS only ever shows the permission sheet once, so it usually has to be fixed in Settings:

  1. Open the Health app.
  2. Tap your picture, top right, then Privacy & Security, then Apps.
  3. Tap Nularo and turn on Sleep, Steps, Workouts, Resting Heart Rate, and Heart Rate Variability.

If they are already on and it still says nothing, your Health app may genuinely be empty for last night, which happens with a new phone or a night the phone spent on a desk. Give it a night and it will have something to be rude about.

Restore a subscription on a new phone

Sign in with the same Apple Account you bought it on, then go to Account and tap Restore purchases. Your creature, your history, and your subscription come back together.

Something the creature said

It is written to be blunt, and it is written by a machine. If it said something that crossed a line, especially anything that read as health advice, a diagnosis, or a comment about your body, we want to see it. Screenshot it and send it over. Those are bugs to us, not personality, and we fix them.

You can also turn the register down: Settings, then Savagery.
